The New Shining Light (NSL) Anointed Handz Mime Ministry is coming to Dyersburg for the first time ever. They will hold a workshop and worship services under the direction of Pastor Shelonda Williams on Saturday, Dec. 2, the workshop will be held at 1 p.m. and service at 7 p.m. at Pavilion of Hope located at 439 W. Court Street. On Sunday, Dec. 3 the NSL Anointed Handz will minister at 9 a.m. at Word of Faith Church located at 515 Laird Street in Dyersburg. This event is free and open to the public. Anointed Handz uses the art of creative expression and movement as an instrument of worship to inspire, uplift, and encourage a worship experience that exemplifies love, expresses faith, gratitude and joy. Anointed Handz ministers to and touches the lives and spirits of others as they bring the Word of God to life through mime. The focus is to see diverse groups of people saved, set free and delivered. This talented team of dancers ministers throughout the Illinois and Missouri area, and has traveled to different states and cities ministering at different churches in collaboration with community events. This innovative group of youth has been ministering through dance together for two years under the direction of pastor Shelonda “Shug” Williams. Their motivation toward excellence derives from their motto, “We will not be defeated because the best is yet to come!” Anointed Handz was featured on the “Bobby Jones Presents Show.” In addition, they have performed with well-known artists such as Vickie Winans, Yolanda Adams, Dorinda Clark, Amber Bullock and Chrystal Rucker. Anointed Handz, along with Pastor Williams, are under the leadership of the founder and overseer, Bishop John H. Williams and Pastor John C. Williams.
