DESCRIPTION:Each year the Dyersburg/Dyer County Chamber of Commerce celebrates the extraordinary things local community members\, businesses\, and organizations have done in Dyersburg and Dyer County.  This year's Annual Chairman's Awards Banquet will be held on Saturday\, January 27\, 2018\, where we will present the following awards:  \n\n\n\n2017 Distinguished Man of the Year - The nominees will be judged on motivation\, civic leadership\, business leadership\, community involvement\, community enrichment\, respect by peers\, and dedication to area growth and development. \n\n\n\n2017 Distinguished Woman of the Year - Nominees will be judged on motivation\, civic leadership\, business leadership\, community involvement\, community enrichment\, respect by peers\, and dedication to area growth and development.\n\n\n\n2017 Business of the Year - A nominated business should exhibit excellence in qualities such as financial soundness and profitability\, business growth\, employee relations\; innovations in product or service\, customer satisfaction\, civic and business leadership\, and involvement of owners and employees in the community.\n\n\n\n2017 Non-profit Organization of the Year - A nominated organization should be a 501(c)3 that is established and exhibits exceptional achievements in building the community and enhancing the quality of life in Dyer County.\n\n\n\n2017 Emerging Leader Award - An emerging leader displays the qualities of leadership including vision\, dedication\, magnanimity\, humility\, openness\, creativity\, fairness\, and commitment to excellence.\n\n\n\n2017 Diplomat of the Year - The Diplomat of the Year is a volunteer that actively participates in the programs of the Chamber and relates these programs and projects to members of the business community while attending and working at various Chamber functions and events. \n\n\n\nNomination forms are attached and must be returned to the Chamber office no later than January 5\, 2018.
