DESCRIPTION:JOIN THE FUN AT GIBSON EMC'S ANNUAL MEMBERS' MEETING\n\n \nTRENTON\, Tenn.  Gibson Electric Membership Corporation invites everyone to its 79th annual members' meeting\, Thursday evening\, April 9\, at Obion County Central High School in Troy.\n\n\n\nRegistration will begin at 6 p.m.  Members who register will be eligible to win one of nine electric bill credits\, an electric grill\, an electric smoker and a weather radio. Door prizes will be awarded throughout the night. Members' children will be eligible to win one of two $75 Walmart gift cards.\n\n\n\nAlso at 6 p.m.\, Kimberlie Helton and Eric Wood will perform a variety of classic rock\, country\, oldies and R&B tunes. \n\n\n\nDuring the business meeting at 7 p.m.\, Gibson EMC's leaders will provide an update on the co-op's operation.  They will present a financial report and talk about the significant activities that have taken place during the past fiscal year\, as well as their expectations for Gibson EMC 's future.\n\n\n\nMembers will have the option of a free barbecue sandwich or hot dog\, potato chips and a soft drink or bottle of water.\n\n\n\nSo mark your calendar for Thursday\, April 9\, and come join the fun.\n\nIf you are a member with special needs and you plan to attend this meeting\, please contact the cooperative at 731-855-4740\, ext. 1611\, by Wednesday\, April 8 so we can try to accommodate you.
