SUMMARY:Gibson EMC Annual Members' Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Gibson Electric Membership Corporation invites everyone to its 77th annual members' meeting\, Thursday evening\, March 21\, at Lara Kendall School in Ridgely.\n\n\n\nRegistration will begin at 6 p.m. Members who register will be eligible to win $100 electric bill credits awarded throughout the night. Member-owners' children will be eligible to win a door prize too.\n\n\n\nAlso at 6 p.m.\, vocalist and guitarist Rick Williams will perform a mix of music from artists such as Jimmy Buffett\, James Taylor\, Zac Brown Band\, Gordon Lightfoot\, Cat Stevens\, Kenny Rogers\, Lynyrd Skynyrd\, Eric Clapton and James Brown. Williams is from Jackson and regularly performs his music throughout West Tennessee.\n\n\n\nDuring the business meeting at 7 p.m.\, Gibson EMC's leaders will provide an update on the co-op's operation.  They will present a financial report and talk about the significant activities that have taken place during the past fiscal year\, as well as their expectations for Gibson EMC's future.\n\nFree barbecue sandwiches\, hot dogs\, chips\, soft drinks and bottled water will be served.\n\n\n\nSo mark your calendar for Thursday\, March 21\, and come join the fun.
