Wear your finest attire (Hats for the ladies and ties for the men suggested) and be entered into the "Best Dressed Man and Best Dressed Woman" contests with your ticket purchase. There will be a silent auction with 100% of the proceeds to benefit the McIver's Grant Public Library. A special "Southern Spread" by Lupo's Catering to settle your hunger. A cash bar with "specialty drinks" like Mint Juleps. Hurricane Punch\, Mimosa's and The Old Fashioned will be available. And of course the greatest two minutes in sports will be on the big screen. There are two ticket types available: Table of eight ($400) and table of four ($200). The per ticket cost is the same but their is a difference. The tables of eight are encouraged to "decorate" your table. There is no theme but it is a horse race after all. You are encouraged to encompass your business or company into the decor but if your a group that just wants to take your shot at a scene from Southern Living Magazine\, go for it. Our panel of four judges are all from out of town by the way. Winning table will receive $800.00! Decorating the tables will be available at 8 am on race day and end at 2 PM.
