DESCRIPTION:The Dyersburg/Dyer County Chamber of Commerce will host the candidates for Dyersburg mayor at a Meet the Candidates Forum on Wednesday\, Oct. 15. The public is urged to attend this event starting at 7 a.m. at the Lannom Center. Candidate presentations and questions will begin at 7:30 a.m.\n\nAs always\, meet the candidate forums are not debates and are intended to help voters learn more about the candidates and the issues surrounding the election. Candidates will speak in random order and will address the voters with opening statements followed by four specific general questions presented by a moderator.\n\nThe Dyersburg/Dyer County Chamber of Commerce does not endorse any candidate for political office and offers this forum so that concerned voters can open a dialogue with each of the candidates.
