This is our first year back and we hope to make it an annual event again."\n\nDeese's Southtown business\, Omni Tech Manufacturing\, suffered more than $1 million in damage due to the flood.\n\n"We are proud to be back and have people getting together in the area\," he said.\n\nArea musicians The Big River Band and Genre will be providing entertainment for the daylong event.\n\nCar lovers from Arkansas\, Missouri and Kentucky will be bringing in vehicles to be examined and judged by a panel.\n\nThe car show is free and participants have until noon on Saturday to bring in their ride.\n\nThe top 30 finalists will be awarded $50 and peers will vote on a "Best in Show\," for a prize of $200.\n\nA car lover himself\, Deese will have two 1955 Ford vehicles for community members to admire.\n\nHamburgers and hotdogs will be grilled for hungry community members to eat while at the event.\n\n"The Dyersburg 4-H Club will provide a duck-call contest for kids to enjoy\," said Deese. "I think that will be fun.
