Adolphe Sax born 11/6/1814 invented the saxophone. What better way to celebrate his birthday than with a saxophone recital? 55 saxophonists are participating, with representation from sixteen area high schools, a middle school, UTM Selmer Center, &Bethel University. In addition to the large saxophone ensemble, we will also have performances by the UTM student saxophone quartet Past Prime, a saxophone quartet made up of local band directors (and featuring the Adolphe Sax born 11/6/1814 invented the saxophone.
