The Newbern Depot Museum is getting ready for a Christmas event, on Dec. 14th, from 1-4 pm, with Santa (from 2-4 pm) singing (2-3 pm), plus refreshments and model trains for the entire event. The depot museum will be open on Dec. 6th, from 10 am till 2 pm, in full Christmas decorations, but with no refreshments, or Santa. There is also a Christmas tree decorating contest planned for Dec. 14th, for small 3-foot trees.
This is an opportunity for your Business or Organization to participate in the Christmas Tree Decorating Contest held in conjunction
with Celebrate a Depot Christmas in downtown Newbern December 14th 2014. Trees can be delivered to the Depot or Newbern
Library prior to December 10th, 2014. There is NO COST for your Business, Organization or Church to enter a Tree for recognition.
Trees will be displayed through the Holidays and will be returned to the Newbern Library for pickup.
The rules are simple. Tree Height is to be 3’-0” to 3’-6” This does not include the tree topper. Lighted with any type lights. You
must provide a 6’ extension cord with your tree for electrical connections. Decorations may reflect your business, holiday theme or
personal project.
