Great American Cleanup

The annual Great American Cleanup event is taking place in Dyer County Saturday, May 21 beginning at 8 a.m. at Okeena Park.  Area residents are urged to pick up litter in their community and bring it to Okeena Park by Noon.  Volunteers involved with the cleanup should be at Okeena Park at 7:30 a.m. on the day of the event for a safety briefing. Volunteers will be issued gloves, trash bags and instructed on how to handle hazardous waste should they come in contact with any.
