Course description: This workshop will explore some of the primary and fundamental areas of concern when treating the addicted client. The workshop will focus on what comes first, what to do next, and which priorities are most important. Discussion regarding strategies, treatment planning, cognitive restructuring, and behavioral management will be addressed throughout this workshop. Emphasis will be placed on transitioning clients through the continuum of care as they move through the treatment process.
