County Commissioner and Dyer County Legislative Body Chairman Milton E. Magee will receive high honors in the dedication of a new name for the Dyer County Complex. Bearing his name on the newly implemented signage, Magee will be recognized for the outstanding dedicated service of 43 years to Dyer County and the state of Tennessee.
On Thursday, Sept. 25, there will be a Dedication Ceremony and Open House beginning at 10:30 a.m. at 151 Everett Ave., Dyersburg. The public is invited to this special occasion. Refreshments will be served.
Several special guests will be in attendance of this honorarium event including his family, Chancellor of the Institute of Agriculture at the University of Tennessee Dr. Larry Arrington, Dean of Extension for the University of Tennessee Dr. Tim Cross, University of Tennessee Extension Regional Director Dr. Ben West, and local officials.
