Panel Discussion - Role of Women and Race in the Church Today

On May 4 the Episcopal Diocese of West Tennessee ordained and consecrated our new bishop, the Rt. Rev. Phoebe Roaf. Bishop Roaf will be in Dyersburg soon for a pastoral visit. Bishop Roaf will be participating in a panel discussion with some of our local pastors to have a conversation on the issues of women and race in the church today. The event is being hosted at the Learning Resource Center at Dyersburg State Community College at 4 pm on Saturday, May 18. We will conclude no later than 5:30 pm.

I hope that members of the community will join us for what promises to be an enlightening and engaging discussion.

Panelists will include:
The Rev. Annetta Camp, Cumberland Presbyterian Church
The Rev. Neal Chatham, New Life Union Mission
The Rev. Brian Grow, First Christian Church
The Rev. George Turks, Salters Chapel AME
